About the Role:

As an Accountant with Volvo Group Finance in Bangalore, you’ll leverage your expertise to manage key financial processes within a global transport and infrastructure leader. You will contribute by handling core accounting functions, with special emphasis on the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle—covering billing, collections, cash application, and customer communication—while adhering to international group policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage billing, collection, and cash application activities for customer accounts
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve order, billing, or payment queries efficiently
• Maintain and report accurate accounting records, and support structured O2C cycles
• Ensure compliance with company and industry audit, accounting, and reporting processes
• Provide regular status updates and reports using MS Excel and other ICT tools
• Support continuous process improvement in collaboration with a diverse and dynamic global finance team

Key Technical Skills:

Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, SAP (preferred), billing, collections, cash application, reporting, MS Excel, client/stakeholder communication, financial analysis, compliance

Requirements:

• Commerce graduate or MBA (Finance)
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with O2C exposure
• Strong command of MS Excel (reporting, analysis)
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Willingness to work in any shift as needed
• Well-organized, self-motivated, problem-solving attitude
• Experience with SAP and process transitions is a plus
